summer hair care must haves + routine

summer haircare products for fine hair and extensions

Make it stand out

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

it all starts in the shower. hydration that is.

this summer we love a good cleanse, double shampoo, extra hydration and cool water reset for the hair and nervous system

if i were to tell you to invest in anything with your hair (especially with extensions) it would be investing in your shower routine and these 3 simple things.

a shampoo that actually cleanses, with out stripping your scalp and hair- keeping your hair clean and hydrated.. if youre like me with fine hair. i would get a hydrating shampoo. i’d rather have extra hydrated hair over dry hair thats snapping off at the root..

next, get a deep conditioner. dont be afraid of this word.. a deep conditioner is powerhouse hydration! it is great for your hair’s elasticity, flexibility, frizz, softness and more. don’t stop here, your efforts will be wasted..

seal it in with your conditioner. if you want a simple option, most shampoo “flavors” nowadays have a matching conditioner, but you can always mix and match depending on what your hair is craving!

if you really want to build a strong summer hair routine, use these products to really step up your game.

shampoo mask and condition

apply k18 mask on damp hair

step 3

add your leave in heat protectant and uv protectant, this is your time to cocktail your products

step 4

comb through from ends to top, in sections to ensure an even application

step 5

air dry or blow dry to desired style

step 6

add oil to mid and ends, left over for baby hairs and roots

day 2

spray in leave in and oil all over or concentrate where needed. always apply heat protectant right before using heat.

use olaplex mask or spray leave in on hands to tame baby hairs and frizz without over oiling.

use masks in between shampoo and conditioning to add extra hydration at least once a week.

day 3

most of the product is built up and you start noticing dryness, frizziness and loss of shine. here is where youll almost reset your hair with lightweight hydration targeted at your ends and distributing the natural oils from your scalp down where it needs it most.

less is always more. products that have most of your tools build in is the key to healthy but lowkey lazy hair routines.
