How I Went From Wanting to teach a Better Haircut, To growing women’s hair back with extensions.

I was so tired of getting bad haircuts or being told I needed to keep my hair short just because it was fine. I was tired of choppy, uneven layers. I just wanted my hair to grow past my shoulders and feel full — not like an unintentional mullet or something that needed bangs to fix it.

That frustration is what started my own personal journey with extensions.

By the end of beauty school, I was already known for my clip-ins and color experimentation. I decided to focus on haircuts because they were the fastest way to make someone feel good about themselves — an instant confidence boost and a dramatic physical change. I loved the reward of it. The shock factor. Watching someone see themselves differently in the mirror.

But I began to notice something..

A large percentage of my cut and color clients were struggling with the same thing I had struggled with: fine hair that felt impossible to figure out.

I wanted to find a better solution for extensions.

I started with clips and tape-ins as a semi-permanent method. I studied them, practiced strategically through trial and error, and worked with many patient models. But the problem always came back to the same thing: the wasted time and the damage adhesive and matting left behind.

There was no real way to grow out fine hair when you were constantly dealing with stickiness, alcohol removers, and the dryness they left behind on the scalp and hair. No matter how careful there was always breakage or bald spots..

There had to be a better way.

So I dedicated the next 8 years to learning hand-tied extensions and beaded rows— no stickiness, minimal points of contact but you could add so much volume! wearing it up without seeing it.. and now there’s science being taught behind it! ahead of it’s time

the best of these years were spent developing routines for clients, guiding them through life’s most unexpected moments, and creating show-stopping cut and color blends and seamless lengths.

Mermaids, if you will.

The hair of your D R E A M S..

Then the years that followed became about something even deeper: Rediscovering the details and structures that make extensions truly special.

You.

The personal details that shape every install, there would be no transformation without you, and the lessons I have gained from your hair journey as well.

Your end goal.
Your diet.
Your stress levels.
Your products at home.
Your water quality.
How your color fades.
Greys — or no greys.
The weight your scalp can comfortably support.
The length you want it to fall.

Learning how to wear braids, soft waves, and fluffy buns — all while learning to love your own hair again.

People come to extensions for many reasons.

Camouflaging broken pieces
A postpartum comeback.
A routine that needs simplifying.
Finally playing with new styles.
Or maybe you’ve worn extensions for years and you’re ready for something better.

Whether you choose to wear extensions long-term or just for a season, they should be gentle. They should support your hair — not fight against it.

They should always be used as a tool to build your confidence not break it.

My goal is simple.

I want my clients to be surprised by how much hair they actually have by the end of their extension journey.

To not need extensions.

Because fine hair isn’t bad.

but you don’t have to feel guilty if you want a little more.

There are options for you.

That’s the beauty of fine hair meeting the new era of hair extensions.
